Job Summary
We're looking for a passionate Aerial Instructor to join our welcoming movement community at Elemental Pilates in beautiful Black Mountain, NC. Our small, supportive classes use aerial hammocks to help clients build strength, improve mobility, gain confidence, and reconnect with their bodies in a fun and encouraging environment. Responsibilities
- Lead energetic and instructional aerial or aerial yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, emphasizing safety and proper technique.
- Provide personalized guidance and modifications to accommodate individual needs, injuries, or limitations during classes.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages group engagement, motivation, and community building among participants.
- Maintain equipment safety standards by inspecting hammocks and related gear regularly and ensuring cleanliness and proper setup before each class.
- Bonuses available for those who promote upcoming classes, workshops, or special events to increase participation and membership engagement
Skills
- Experience teaching aerial yoga or related aerial classes with a focus on safety and participant engagement.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and how they relate to movement and flexibility training.
- Ability to design classes tailored to diverse skill levels while maintaining a fun and energetic class environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to instruct clearly and motivate participants effectively.
- Background in fitness disciplines such as Pilates and/or Yoga highly desirable.
- Must provide proof of liability insurance at the time of hire
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
