Job Summary: Integral part of the Fiscal Team at Elemental Management Group. Responsibilities include general accounting functions, financial statement preparation, Resident Trust oversight, accounts payable team support, finance related projects, audit and regulatory reporting support, cash/AR reconciliation, and other accounting related responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete monthly and annual closing and preparation of monthly financial reporting.
- Reconcile cash monthly.
- Prepare sales tax reports.
- Assist in the annual audit process.
- Prepare annual 1099 reports, maintain W9 files with assistance from the accounts payable team.
- Communicate GL changes and corrections with accounts payable team and answer related questions from accounts payable team.
- Resident Trust account reconciliation with AR team at facilities,
- Assist with annual budget.
- Prepare schedules and provide analysis for owners and administrators upon request.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis (industry expertise preferable)
