JElement6’s Global IT client is looking for a LIMS Implementation Consultant to join their client implementation team. Seeking talented technical individuals with any of the following industry experience: Biotech/Life Science, Environmental, Water, Scientific, Industrial, or Agriculture/Food. As a LIMS Implementation Consultant, you will deliver technical LIMS application implementation or consulting projects to achieve successful on-time schedule completion for implementations and client satisfaction. You will provide clients with mentorship and advice for workflow planning and drive adoption of standard methodologies for laboratories for the greatest customer return on investment. You will be responsible for performing contracted onsite and remote services for clients. This position is for someone a technical foundation of SQL (being able to write and pull their own data), HL7, and APIs.
Essential Functions:
· Consult pre-sale and post-sale with key stakeholders to ensure project scope aligns with contracted customer expectations.
· Conduct implementations demonstrating a thorough knowledge and understanding of department procedures and guidelines
· Guide the client in their decision making to achieve maximum efficiency using best practice recommendations.
· Conduct training for the client as part of the overall implementation process
· Provide input to process improvements by monitoring both client and departmental feedback.
· Travel to client sites to install software products following department procedures and guidelines.
· Maintain a high level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction through the entire duration of the customer relationship.
· Resolve project issues or determine when escalation to senior staff or management is required.
· Collaborates and Mentors other Professional Services Consultants to expand own and others depth & breadth of product along with industry knowledge.
· Effectively organize and prioritize project tasks to ensure timely completion of projects assigned.
Skills Needed to be Successful
· Strong understanding of client/workflow concepts relative to laboratories’ software applications with some knowledge of interfaces. 3 years of SQL, HL7 and APIs.
· Ability to understand how multiple systems work together and ability to make recommendations.
· Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of the organization.
· Ability to work independently and effectively manage projects and priorities from start to finish.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Develop and improve workflow processes and procedures and drive client process improvements.
Required Experience & Education:
· Bachelor of Science in Healthcare or Information Technology or related degree
· 3 years of work experience in Biotech/Life Science, Environmental, Water, Scientific, Industrial, or Agriculture/Food environment with IT / software environment, preferred LIMS experience
· 1 years of experience in implementation or consulting with clients on new software, laboratory or scientific preferred
· 3 years of experience writing SQL queries (Oracle DB knowledge preferred)
· 3 years of experience with report development (Telerik, Actuate, Crystal)
· Able to travel for work up to 50%, but generally around 25%
Preferred Experience & Education:
· 5 years’ experience with healthcare information systems (LIMS) or software products
· 3 years' experience in a laboratory (Clinical or Environmental)
· 1 year's experience with programming languages

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
