At EUSSD, compensation is determined through a comprehensive approach that considers candidate qualifications, role responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational needs. Pay may vary by location; for this position, the annual base salary target range is $21.50 - $26/hr, with potential eligibility for bonuses or commission depending on the role.
About The Role
Perform EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) tests and measurements of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and subsystems using standard and precision measurement instrumentation for the EMI department. EMI: Electromagnetic Interference tests/measurements of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and subsystems using standard and precision measurement instrumentation.
Core Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Test lab with exposure to sudden, loud noises
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

About The Role
Perform EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) tests and measurements of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and subsystems using standard and precision measurement instrumentation for the EMI department. EMI: Electromagnetic Interference tests/measurements of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and subsystems using standard and precision measurement instrumentation.
Core Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Test Setup - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipment
- Perform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data
- Data Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program Manager
- Lab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, & organizing supplies
- Other - Perform other duties as assigned
- Under close supervision, able to complete basic technical and mechanical procedures
- Some interaction with clients
- Able to assist with basic troubleshooting and basic interpretation and analysis of test results
- Comprehensive understanding of DMM, Oscope, power supplies; working knowledge of basic safety practices
- Basic mechanical skills; basic MS Office skills; able to understand AC/DC circuits
- HS Diploma or GED. Technical Certification, AA or AS in Electronics/Electrical preferred
- 0-3 Years of Experience
