Key Responsibilities
· Chemical Additive Unit Operations: Assist with rig-in/rig-out processes, ensuring chemical hoses are rigged safely and in compliance with SOPs.
· Safety Practices: Implement best practices in the chemical zone, including using correct PPE and preventing chemical contamination through meticulous checking of valving and lines.
· System Integrity: Support the chem-add operator in ensuring pumps are never rolled against a closed system.
· Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues promptly to maintain job quality.
· Maintenance: Ensure all preventive maintenance requirements are met.
Requirements
· Licenses: Valid A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements
· Driving Record: Satisfactory driving record
· Experience: Proven ability to perform all tasks of lower job classification
· Safety Knowledge: Understanding of truck and equipment safety and maintenance
· Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills
· Work Ethic: High integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to handle stress
· Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision and in diverse environments
