Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards Manufacturing Business Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize manufacturing processes within the JD Edwards World environment. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between manufacturing operations and IT, ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs while driving process improvements, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.

The typical base salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $105,899 and $158,849 annually.

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards Manufacturing Business Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize manufacturing processes within the JD Edwards World environment. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between manufacturing operations and IT, ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs while driving process improvements, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
What will you be doing?
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Analyze manufacturing business processes and translate requirements into JD Edwards functional solutions.
- Collaborate with production, planning, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Recommend best practices and standardization within JDE manufacturing modules.
- Configure, support, and enhance JDE World manufacturing modules, including:
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Routing
- Work Orders
- Shop Floor Management
- Product Data Management (PDM)
- MRP / MPS / Capacity Planning
- Support manufacturing costing, variance analysis, and inventory transactions.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
- Participate in JDE implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Assist with data migration, validation, and cutover activities.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for JDE manufacturing functionality.
- Develop and deliver user training, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide ongoing functional support to manufacturing users.
- Work with reporting teams to define manufacturing KPIs and system reports.
- Support integrations between JDE and external systems such as MES, PLM, or WMS.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across manufacturing transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting JD Edwards World or EnterpriseOne Manufacturing.
- Strong functional knowledge of discrete and process manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with JDE manufacturing modules (BOM, Routing, Work Orders, MRP).
- Experience gathering requirements and writing functional design documents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with JDE Financials as it relates to manufacturing costing.
- Exposure to JDE technical platform, Program version, file structure, security.
- Experience supporting lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in multi-site or global manufacturing environments.
