We’re a third-party billing company seeking an exceptional Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit and manage professional and institutional claims to 3rd party payers (e.g., Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Florida Blue)
• Track and document all interactions with insurance companies
• Efficiently resolve claim denials using available resources and tools
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve billing issues
• Review and work accounts through the full revenue cycle
• Make outbound calls and access payer portals to check claim statuses
• Navigate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and billing software systems
• Apply general coding knowledge, including CPT codes
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Required: 1 year of experience in medical billing
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in medical collections
• Strong understanding of insurance billing processes and denials
• Familiarity with Office 365 (especially Excel)
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Team player with excellent communication skills
