Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our Physical Therapist in the delivery of therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapist in the delivery of patient care, including conducting initial assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions
• Provide hands-on treatment to patients, including exercises, modalities, and therapeutic activities
• Conduct meetings with patients to discuss treatment goals and progress, and make recommendations for ongoing care
• Collaborate with Physical Therapist to develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including treatment notes and progress reports
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Adhere to established policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field preferred
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant certification (PTA) or equivalent
• Minimum of 0 years of experience in a physical therapy setting; previous experience in a hospital or outpatient setting a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
