About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team member to join our team as a Business Analyst Intern. In this role, you will support data-driven projects and strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to gather, analyze, and interpret data that informs key business initiatives. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to develop analytical skills and understand how business insights drive value.
What You'll Do
- Support the development of business performance reports and dashboards.
- Gather and analyze data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communications for data-related projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and provide insights that support business decisions.
- Contribute to internal presentations and reports by visualizing data clearly and effectively.
- Track project milestones and support coordination of data initiatives.
- Support data storytelling efforts through clear and concise communication of analytical findings.
- Assist with organizational performance assessments and improvement recommendations.
- Provide general support to ongoing business analysis initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a university program, ideally in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel; familiarity with data tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: College/University degree preferred.
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to gain experience in business analysis and data storytelling.
Location: Hopkins, MN
The hiring base salary range for this position is $20.48/hour to $28.14/hour. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
