ELEMENT currently has an opening for a Survey Rod Person. Experience is preferred but not necessary. This position requires working with others on projects related to land surveying.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform land surveying field work and related manual labor in the field in support of land surveying operations.
- Loading / unloading / carrying equipment from truck.
- Setting up equipment and preparing job site for survey.
- Removing obstacles / clearing brush and trees away from survey line.
- Running level rod to obtain elevations.
- Holding prism pole for horizontal positions.
Requirements
- Valid Florida driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
- Basic math skills.
- Required to travel overnight when needed.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk for long periods of time through all kinds of terrain, uneven ground and sometimes water.
- Ability to carry and lift equipment as needed on project.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work for any employer in the United States.
