ELEMENT currently has an opening for an entry level Subsurface Utility Engineering Technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Use ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic designating equipment and other geophysical means.
- Mark utilities with flags and/or paint and produce accurate field drawings and sketches of results for future use by client.
- Operate vacuum excavation truck and other related equipment to verify utility characteristics and record depth of utility line from surface.
- Assist with maintenance of vehicle/trucks, equipment, and work sites.
- Work as part of a crew under the direction of senior technician.
- Exercise extreme caution near or around any utility facility and follow all applicable job site safety parameters.
Requirements
- High School and/or specialized training from a vocational or technical school.
- Valid Florida driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
- Ability to travel (up to 50% of the time).
- Required to travel overnight when needed.
- Required to work 50 hours during busy periods.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds.
- Ability to carry and lift equipment as needed on project.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work for any employer in the United States.
