ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Maintenance Engineer, you are the behind-the-scenes hero who ensures every guest experience runs smoothly. From comfortable guest rooms to welcoming public spaces, you play a critical role in maintaining a safe, functional, and inviting environment. Your expertise keeps our property operating at its best — so our guests and team can focus on what matters most.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will contribute to outstanding guest and team experiences by:

• Delivering friendly, professional service to guests while responding promptly to maintenance needs

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing maintenance issues in guest rooms, public areas, offices, and laundry facilities

• Performing preventative maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and safely

• Partnering with local fire safety officials to inspect, test, and maintain fire and life safety systems

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Supporting fellow team members with a collaborative, team-first attitude

Your work directly impacts guest satisfaction, safety, and overall property performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you should possess working knowledge and hands-on experience in multiple trades, including:

• Carpentry

• Plumbing

• Electrical systems

• HVAC and air conditioning

• Painting and wall covering

• Masonry and general repairs

Additional requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Customer service experience with a hospitality mindset

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Authorization to work in the United States
