DEPARTMENT/POSITION
- Quality Assurance

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
- 3 12 hour Night Shifts (7pm-7am) rotating on a 4 week schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, Friday, Saturday (rotating 4 week schedule)
- Pay starts at $20.85 per hour and increases to $29.39 per hour after completion of training.
This position will be a mix of assisting the EMT and Multiwire department. The details for each department entail:
EMT: In this position, the Lab Technician performs standard tests on all medical tubing and mandrel products produced in the EMT department and classifies the same; measures, records, and reports characteristics as produced by coating and braiding machines. The person in this role will be performing tests for mechanical properties and enamel cure as well as visual inspections. The Lab Technician organizes daily priorities and generates Certificates of Analysis for all finished products. The person in this role will also initiate containment for nonconforming material and assist in the customer returns process. The Lab Technician needs to perform an inspection with a focus on attention to detail. This person will be required to communicate effectively with other QA technicians as well as EMT production operators and supervisors.
Multiwire: The Multiwire Lab Technician performs standard tests on wire from production machines and classifies same; measures, records, and reports wire characteristics for plated metals as well as specialty alloys including set-ups and changeovers. In addition, the Multiwire Lab Technician will prepare Certificates of Analysis for materials shipped out of the department. This position will also assist with gage studies, procedure writing and all record keeping to maintain compliance with ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 guidelines. The Multiwire Lab Technician will initiate containment for nonconforming material and assist in the customer returns process for plated metals. Person in this role will be in daily communication with the Multiwire production area and vendors for all quality issues, both verbally and in written reports.
Both: Performs other work as assigned by supervisor. Complies with company rules and safety policies.

· Efficient with MS Excel & Word.
· Self-motivated and able to perform quality work independently at a high level of detail.
· A strong desire to learn and adapt where excellence is required.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Strong ability to work across departments toward common goals.
· Possess a high level of organizational skills with a focus on multitasking.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· 20:20 vision required.
· Able to work overtime when required.
· Must pass pre-employment physical and criminal background check.
