Job Summary

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and make a real impact on customer satisfaction. As a Field Technician 1 (Service Sentinel), you will install and service internet and related services throughout Steamboat Springs, CO and the surrounding area. Opportunity is open to candidates from Steamboat, Craig, Oak Creek, Yampa and Clark, Colorado. The successful candidate will enjoy working outdoors in all seasons and be able to complete multiple appointments per day. Work schedules are generally Monday to Friday, but flexibility is required as schedules may vary depending on the season. Occasional weekend assignments and overtime are possible. Extensive training will be provided, and there are opportunities for growth within the company. This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $19-25 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Requirements

• Must have legal status to work in the United States.
• Must be Located in the Steamboat Springs, CO area - NO RELOCATION
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Candidate must have reliable transportation; Mileage Reimbursement will be at the Standard Federal Rate ($0.72.5 per mile);
• Upon completion of Training & 90 day probationary period, a Company Vehicle will be issued, as they become available.
• Must be willing and able to pass Pre-Employment Background Screening
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work safely from ladders and towers.
• Hygiene & Professional Appearance are Mandatory

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform solo installations and basic maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot common technical issues on-site.
• Interact with customers professionally and report job outcomes accurately.
• Learn upselling techniques and churn reduction strategies.

Skills Required

• Basic technical skills in installations and troubleshooting.
• Customer service and communication skills for positive interactions.
• Problem-solving aptitude to handle on-site challenges.
• Ability to work independently.
• Prior Experience in Cable/Satellite Installation, Electrical, Low-Voltage, Cabling Installation is Preferred, but Not Required.
• Time Management, Documentation, and Accountability are Mandatory.
• Must have the Responsibility to be able to Work Independently
• Proficiency with laptop, mobile devices, and aptitude for Technology Concepts is Mandatory
• Familiarity with Grand County is a plus.
