We are seeking an assistant plant manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production schedules are met with efficiency, quality, and safety.

As a Production Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in shaping our operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring our Quality Management System remains strong to exceed customer expectations.
This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to motivate and guide production teams in a fast-paced packaging environment. A key focus will be driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring strict adherence to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across assigned shifts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor workflow, equipment performance, and material usage to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to resolve issues.
- Track production metrics (output, downtime, scrap, etc.) and report results to management.
- Facilitate the implementation lean manufacturing practices and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and production data.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Champion continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
- Ensure all production activities align with Elegant Packaging’s Quality Management System (QMS), including documentation, audits, and corrective actions.
- Work closely with the Quality team to uphold ISO standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or packaging operations.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish). (Preferred)
Working Conditions
- Full-time, on-site role in a manufacturing environment.
- Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of materials.
- Flexible schedule with potential for overtime and weekend shifts.

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
