Overview
We are seeking a Reliable and hard working Shop Assistant to join our team. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a can do attitude. As a Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of the team. There is heavy lifting required. We are really busy in the Fall/winter. We go from town to town on the weekends hosting large Ice carving events. The summer months we slow down some. We do weddings, Golf invitationals, Graduations and so much more. Spring/Summer months we have the ability to be flexible with the scheduling. however last minuet call offs hurt the teams success and wont be tolerated.
Responsibilities
- Harvesting Large Ice Blocks using a over head crane system. Trim blocks down on giant sawmill. Then dolly them into Freezer
- Restarting the Blocks in the Block Makers
- Packaging, Delivering, and setting up Ice Sculptures
- Working in a freezer cutting cubes for cocktails
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area and freezers
- Eventually sculpting Ice Carvings and live demonstrations in December
- Learning how to load and unload CNC.
