Hours are flexible and consisting of 14-21 hours per week.Position OverviewThe Seamstress will be responsible for garment construction, alterations, repairs, and creating patterns based on design requirements. This role requires precision, creativity, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform precise sewing, alterations, hemming, and garment repairsConstruct garments and fabric pieces according to specificationsCreate, interpret, and modify patterns for custom designsOperate industrial and domestic sewing machines safely and efficientlyEnsure high-quality stitching, fit, and finishing on every projectMaintain workspace cleanliness and equipment functionalityCommunicate clearly with designers or customers regarding project requirementsMeet deadlines while maintaining excellent craftsmanshipRequirementsMinimum 3 years of professional Seamstress experiencePattern design experience requiredStrong knowledge of garment construction and alteration techniquesAbility to work with various fabrics and materialsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyStrong hand-sewing and machine-sewing skills
