Electrum is seeking experienced Inside Sales Representatives—Energy Advisors—to support the continued growth of our solar and electrification marketplace.


This is a fully remote, commission-only contract role, with the potential to convert to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.


As an Energy Advisor, you’ll work with qualified homeowner leads and manage the sales process end to end. Success in this role requires the ability to build trust quickly, move conversations forward with intention, and close deals efficiently—while maintaining a high standard of transparency, accuracy, and professionalism.


What You'll Do


  • Manage the full sales cycle for qualified inbound leads, from consultation through contract
  • Conduct remote sales conversations via video, phone, text, and emai
  • Review and analyze solar and storage bids and provide clear, informed recommendations
  • Close contracts remotely while maintaining a strong customer experience
  • Process contracts accurately and maintain relationships that support repeat and referral business
  • Use Electrum’s CRM and proprietary tools to manage pipeline and performance
  • Build and maintain expertise in solar, storage, and home electrification
  • Follow established workflows with a high level of attention to detail
  • Contribute feedback to improve sales processes and the overall customer experience


What You've Done


  • 2–5 years of experience in a sales role with responsibility for closing deals
  • Prior solar or clean energy sales experience strongly preferred and considered a significant advantage
  • Experience working in a CRM-driven sales environment
  • Active California State Licensed Home Improvement Salesperson (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Compensation & Role Structure


This role is structured as a commission-only, contract position. It is best suited for sales professionals who are comfortable in a performance-based environment and motivated by clear, measurable results.


High performers may be considered for full-time opportunities over time.
