Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Operating Officer/Partner (growth) with a FOCUS ON FUNDING AND INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT regarding projects in the pipeline in DIVERSE but marketable entertainment sectors.
The Chief Operating Officer/Partner will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing business plans, generating leads, negotiating contracts, and managing client accounts. They will also be involved in strategic decision-making and overseeing the overall business development function. THEY will play an integral role in the aggressive, innovative growth of an emerging brand that may go in numerous directions, enhancing monetization, hiring additional staff, and essentially working as a partner in this company with equity and performance. This is a unique challenge with numerous projects lined up ready to go in NUMEROUS diverse areas, working with major clients that just need the required team and funding to push forward and disrupt industries. This can become full-scale very quickly, and not the typical post.
We aim to compete with heavy hitters regionally and nationally, going from "unknown" to a disruptor. This is a “ready to go” start-up with a vision and attitude needed in today's marketplace. If you're interested, we aim to be up and running by mid-May. I will maintain at least 51% ownership unless we sell down the line, but the rest is negotiable.
- Immersive Amusement Division (Haunted attractions, video games, immersive experiences)
- Promotions and Events Division
- Consulting and Marketing (non-traditional but traditional media production, marketing, etc.);
- Interactive Media Movie and Television Division
Qualifications
- New Business Development, Business Planning, and Lead Generation skills (fundraising on in-development projects)
- Experience in contract negotiation and account management
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in the media or entertainment industry is a plus
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is recommended but not required
- Willing to consider a partnership role and co-ownership
