Summary:
The Program Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of programs within an organization. They ensure that program activities run smoothly, meet organizational goals, and comply with policies and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement program activities, events, and initiatives
- Monitor program progress and ensure timelines, goals, and deliverables are met
- Maintain program records, reports, and documentation.
- Communicate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders regarding program updates
- Assist in developing program materials, guidelines, and procedures
- Identify areas for program improvement and recommend solutions
- Provide administrative and logistical support for program operations
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or administrative support
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and adhere to established processes
- Self-motivated individual with strong learning agility, a proactive mindset, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to the workplace
- Strong work habits, including punctuality, reliability, and consistent attendance
- Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional background in the manufacturing sector, with a focus on contract manufacturing operations
- Experience with program evaluation or data analysis.
- Familiarity with project management tools or databases
- PMI CAPM or PMP certification
Rate: $32-$37/hour
