Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Electronic Service Engineer based in Cortland, NY. The position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium and low voltage drive systems. Responsibilities include performing troubleshooting, conducting preventive and predictive maintenance, providing technical support, and completing in-house and on-site equipment repairs. The Electronic Service Engineer will also ensure proper operation of all serviced systems.
Qualifications
- Experience with medium and low voltage drive systems installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and diagnostic skills for resolving electrical and electronic system issues
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques for electrical equipment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, schematics, and specifications
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and effective support to clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in on-site environments
- Availability to support 24/7 troubleshooting and repair requests as necessary
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in energy savings and power quality analysis is a plus
