This is a full-time, on-site role located in Richmond, CA, for a Field Service Technician. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing entry control and security systems, including automatic gates, security fencing, surveillance cameras, and access control systems. The field service technician will also perform regular equipment inspections, provide technical support, and collaborate with clients to ensure their security needs are met efficiently.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of hardware and electronic systems
- Familiarity with security systems, including cameras, card readers, and automated gates
- Experience in electrical wiring, mechanical repair, and installation of technical components
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and technical aptitude
- Physical capability to perform on-site tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various conditions
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Relevant certifications in electronics or security systems are a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in a related field preferred
