Job Summary
The Human Resource Administrator manages key HR functions including payroll, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding, while ensuring compliance with policies and labor laws. They maintain HRIS data, oversee the full recruiting lifecycle, and facilitate new hire integration. Additionally, they assist with policy updates, training development, and compliance tracking, and support the HR Manager in strategic initiatives and reporting.
Essential Functions
- Ensure the accuracy of weekly timecards and prepare the payroll file.
- Provide employees with guidance on handbook policies.
- Represent HR in various work groups and committees.
- Maintain and update HRIS information to comply with state and federal laws and create reports for easy data retrieval.
- Manage the full life cycle of recruiting, including posting positions, managing the applicant pipeline, conducting phone screenings, scheduling interviews and assessments, and extending job offers.
- Collaborate with the hiring team and marketing to advertise open positions through multiple channels.
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding for new hires during their first 2-3 weeks at EIM.
- Consult with management to develop and implement departmental or company-wide training and refer to external training resources as needed.
- Assist the HR Manager in tracking HR and labor law compliance across the company.
- Aid the HR Manager in researching and updating policies for the Employee Handbook.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager and Engagement Committee to recommend and develop programs that enhance employee productivity and engagement.
- Act as a secondary contact to the HR Manager during audits.
- Verify the accuracy and currency of employee information across HRIS, Label Management Software, and benefit portals.
