We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join our team supporting a large DoD program that operates and maintains an AWS GovCloud environment to take advantage of the many benefits offered by commercial cloud hosting, such as the ability to accelerate IT delivery, efficiency and innovation.

Required Skills
- Must be able to fully install, configure, modify, sustain, and troubleshoot the following:
- Microsoft Server OS
- Internet Information Services
- Windows Server Updates Services
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers
- Windows Defender
- PowerShell Automation
- Familiarity with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) and Security Requirements Guides for the Department of Defense (DOD)
- An understanding of cloud-based technologies with a desire to learn more.
- Experience analyzing logs to be able to determine root causes for problems.
- Experience working with cloud provider infrastructure as a service and networking technologies (preferred platforms include Amazon Web Services (GovCloud).
- Highly technical and analytical possessing 2 years of IT platform implementation experience.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in a progression of roles to include delivering and sustaining technical solutions.
- Demonstrated customer focus and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product and technical challenges.
- Proven experience in communicating and demonstrating the value of technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders to address complex and competing drivers in complex technical environments.
- Required Clearance / Certifications:
- Secret Clearance required as a minimum
- DOD 8570-01M required Level: IAT Level-2 (Security CE)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- Substitute for baseline security certification: CCNA Security; CySA , GICSP; GSEC; CND; SSCP
- Baseline Computing certification: MCSE, Red Hat Systems Administration, or equivalent
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with ansible automation
- SCCM administration experience
- Understanding of IaC concepts
