Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician with strong documentation experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards and regulations by performing inspections and maintaining accurate documentation of findings. The QC Technician will collaborate closely with production and quality assurance teams to implement quality control processes and recommend improvements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections on materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of quality control processes, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement in quality.
- Work closely with production teams to communicate quality issues and assist in the development of corrective action plans.
- Conduct calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment, ensuring they are consistently accurate and reliable.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, policies, and guidelines.
- Participate in internal and external audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and support.
Required Skills
- Attention to detail: Ability to spot defects or irregularities.
- Technical knowledge: Understanding of testing methodologies, equipment, and industry standards.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify issues and suggest solutions.
- Communication skills: Effective verbal and written communication with teams across the organization.
- Basic computer skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, data entry, and possibly specialized QC software
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (1-2 years preferred).
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
