What are the responsibilities and job description for the IPT Operator position at Electron Energy Corporation?
Job Summary:
Test Operator 1 is responsible for performing all tasks related to In Process Testing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Trained in all aspects of In Process Testing.
- Measuring parts to be tested (OD, ID, THK, Density, Flux, Uniformity)
- Equipment calibration and operation.
- Follows priority lists as outlined by leadership and/or Epicor dashboards.
- Proper completion of paperwork, and clocking jobs off in Epicor.
- Follows pass/fail guidelines as outlined by the AQL standards.
- Meets or exceeds established testing rates.
- Maintains housekeeping standards.
- Follow all safety and quality standards.
- Ensure cleanliness of work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Works in a clean, well-lit production environment; requires protective footwear and eyewear. Requires full legged pants/jeans.
- Regularly stands on cement floors with rubber mats; may involve sitting, stooping, bending, and walking.
- Capable of lifting and transporting an average weight of 10 lbs., up to a maximum of 40 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity and near visual acuity.
- Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with quality and safety regulations.
2nd shift - Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
