What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Operator - 2nd Shift position at Electrolux?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates a variety of heavy equipment and monitors processes to assure proper application of fabrication standards. Functions as a team member and contributes as much as possible to team projects. Uses judgement to check parts for imperfections. Performs troubleshooting processes and minor preventative maintenance on machines. Must complete job specific training within 90 days or disqualification will result.
QUALIFICATIONS AND BASIC SKILLS:
Steel toe shoes required.
Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Able to stand for the majority of the shift.
Able to read and write English.
Required to pass Lock out/Tag out prior to job bid
Must be Yellow Gear or obtain within the 6 months completion of basic skills.
Entry Level 017 position can only be held up to 9 months,all entry level job codes will be required to move to the level if not disqualification will occur.
