  • Establish and execute supplier qualification and readiness plans, ensuring successful product launches and SOP alignment
  • Drive preventive quality processes including PFMEA, control plans (PCP), and PPAP documentation
  • Develop and manage supplier audit strategy, including planning, execution, and follow‑up actions
  • Identify and lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to reduce risk, improve reliability, and enhance performance
  • Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, and Manufacturing to support part approvals, sourcing decisions, and production readiness
  • Partner with global supplier quality teams to coordinate actions impacting North American operations
  • Lead issue escalation and resolution with suppliers, ensuring timely corrective actions and accountability
  • Provide regular reporting on supplier performance, risks, and improvement actions to leadership and key stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Business, or a related field
  • 10 years of experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, R&D, or procurement within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of supplier quality processes, including PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and audit methodologies
  • Experience managing supplier performance metrics such as PPM, SCR, and warranty cost
  • Proven ability to lead teams and operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, product launch readiness, and material flow
  • Experience working with suppliers and stakeholders across multiple regions
  • Fluency in English required; additional language skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the appliance, automotive, or other consumer durable goods industry
  • Auditor certification (internal, second‑party, or third‑party)
  • Experience leading large, complex supplier networks
  • Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing experience

Benefits include:

  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance
  • Competitive holiday and vacation time off program
  • Retirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with relevant company contribution.
