Job Summary
Electro Plate Circuitry (EPC) is hiring Entry-Level Production Technicians to support the manufacturing of printed circuit boards in a fast-paced production environment. This is a hands-on role for dependable individuals who are willing to learn, follow instructions, and grow within a manufacturing team.
This position is designed as an all-around production role. Employees may be trained and rotated through multiple departments including plating, inspection, drilling, routing, DES, CMM, quality support, material handling, and other manufacturing operations based on business needs.
No PCB experience is required. We will train the right person. What matters is attitude, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to work.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform entry-level production tasks in various manufacturing departments
* Learn and follow work instructions, process procedures, and supervisor direction
* Support production areas such as plating, drilling, routing, DES, inspection, CMM, and quality-related activities
* Handle parts and materials carefully to prevent damage, contamination, or mix-ups
* Inspect work visually and identify obvious defects or nonconforming material
* Maintain accurate part counts, job identification, and traceability throughout production
* Complete required paperwork, production sign-offs, and basic data entry accurately
* Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
* Follow all company safety rules, PPE requirements, and quality standards
* Report issues with material, equipment, quality, or production flow to supervisors
* Support team goals for output, quality, and on-time delivery
* Cross-train in multiple departments as needed
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED preferred
* No prior PCB experience required; manufacturing experience is a plus
* Willingness to learn and be trained in multiple production departments
* Good attendance and punctuality required
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
* Strong attention to detail
* Basic math and counting skills
* Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
* Ability to work in a structured manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, machine operation, or production
* Experience working around industrial equipment or in a quality-focused environment
* Experience with inspection, measurements, or documentation is helpful but not required
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
* Ability to lift and carry materials as needed
* Ability to use hands for repetitive tasks and part handling
* Ability to see fine details for inspection-related work
* Ability to work around machinery, production chemicals, and PPE requirements
Work Environment
This role works in a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to production equipment, noise, chemicals, and department-specific safety requirements. Employees must follow all safety and quality procedures at all times.
