Job Title: Quality Control Operator
Reports To: Quality Control Manager
Job Type/Location: Full Time, Union Position, Lodi, NJ
Position Summary: The Quality Control Operator will use measuring and test equipment to conduct tests, perform inspections and/or to measure parts/products in Quality Control Department and accurately and legibly record results as applicable.
Responsibilities:

• Test, inspect, and/or measure parts/products for conformance to specifications.
• Record results for conducted tests, performed inspections, and/or measured parts/products.
• Maintain Quality Control Department records, reports, logs and other documentation as required in an accurate and detailed manner.
• Assist with maintenance of measuring and test equipment in Quality Control Department.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform activities in accordance with the specified requirements and procedures.
• Complete directions in an accurate, thorough and detailed manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to write and communicate in English (required).
• Good interpersonal skills.
• General ability to apply mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.
• General knowledge in using measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, gage blocks/pins, optical comparators, torque meters, and various electrical test equipment (preferred).
• Some understanding of complex engineering drawings, knowledge in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (preferred).
• Capable of using a computer and operating menu driven software (required).
