POSITION OVERVIEW: Ensure Electro Acoustics executes on-time, on-budget projects with exceptional quality that deliver on the promises EA made to the client; understand client’s needs/expectations and properly communicate to all necessary parties; coordinate team-based approach to project completion; verify client satisfaction throughout the project.
COORDINATES WITH: Account Manager, Systems Designer, Project Lead, Shop Manager, Purchasing Associate, Operations Manager, Systems Design Manager, and Accounting Associate
KEY RESULT AREA’S (KRA’S):
- Project Manager Roles:
- Lead Project Team to achieve an on-time, on-budget installation that achieves EA and Apex quality standards
- Facilitate communication among and between the Project Team and external parties (e.g., General Contractors, other trades, Clients, Vendors, Consultants) and execute EA’s Project Communication Plan
- Achieve Design Intent for the project
- Develop overall project schedule and specific deadlines for equipment release and equipment delivery, track purchases and delivery schedules for impacts on installation schedule
- Manage pre-construction coordination with General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, and other trades to ensure project site is ready for Electro Acoustics
- Manage projects, lead project teams, and schedules through our multi-departmental model
- Support in Mentorship and support training program
- Efficiency
- Monitor progress of engineering, installation, and training to ensure client satisfaction
- Participate in the Weekly Game Plan
- Performance
- Achieve project completion at or below 100% of budget
- Achieve 95% accuracy in change orders for budget and accuracy
- Achieve and maintain a 30% average actual gross profit across assigned projects
- Maintain 90% handoff effectiveness rating
- Ensure each assigned project is completed according to EA standards and Apex standards
- Participate in company improvement initiatives
- Acquire 1 CTS RU Each Month
- Coordination
- Coordinate with Sales Manager and Operations Manager to schedule projects to company capacity
- Coordinate with project architects/owners and system designers to meet schedules, deadlines, and to provide needed information
- Coordinate with architects/owners and system designers to provide needed changes, information, and updates
- Coordinate with operations manager and project lead to provide information to aid in system installation
- Coordinate with purchasing associate to provide accurate and up to date purchasing lists by purchasing deadline
- Coordinate with accounting to provide complete, accurate, and detailed information for accurate invoicing of projects
- Track client payments and follow up on late accounts
- Coordinate with client to ensure client is fully trained to use system to its full potential
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- 5 years’ experience in managing audio, video, and lighting system installations
- Strong people and communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Proficient with Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote
- Mastery of proposal generation software (i.e., Jetbuilt), customer relationship management (CRM) software (i.e., Zoho), and project management software
- Self-motivated
- Team player
- Detail oriented and conscientious
- Strong organizational skills and office maintenance
- Professional appearance in dress, office maintenance; must follow company dress code
- Punctual and dependable
- Is available to work evenings, weekends, out-of-town, overtime, and long hours if client service is needed
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
- Authorized to drive company vehicle in accordance with Fleet Safety Program
- Willing to travel as required (US only)
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) from a four-year college in construction management or business administration or equivalent experience in project management
- Completion of Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification
- Strong commitment to continuous learning
- Contribute to the development of new production processes to improve efficiency and quality of work
- Advanced knowledge of Audio, Video, Acoustics, Control, and Theatrical Lighting Systems
