Our events attract hundreds to thousands of attendees and rely on a strong, engaging team to deliver a seamless experience.
Role Overview
We are looking for outgoing, reliable Event Staff to support on-site operations during our events as we begin to enter the Connecticut market. This role is customer-facing and requires strong communication, awareness, and the ability to manage fast-moving environments while maintaining a positive and controlled atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet, scan RSVPs, and direct customers upon entry
- Explain Fill-A-Bag rules, pricing, and flow of the event clearly
- Monitor crowd flow and maintain an organized shopping environment
- Assist customers on the floor as needed while maintaining efficiency
- Support bag distribution and ensure smooth transaction flow
- Help restock and maintain presentation of inventory during the event
- Assist with line management and crowd control when needed
- Work closely with team leads to ensure event operations run smoothly
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the space throughout the event
- Assist with setup and breakdown tasks as needed
Schedule Requirements
- Availability required during weekend events (typically daytime into early evening on Saturdays & Sundays)
- Schedule varies based on event calendar
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in high-energy, crowded environments
- Ability to stay organized and composed under pressure
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- Retail, events, or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge or passion for vintage clothing / thrifting is a plus!
- Comfortable being on camera for social media videos is a plus!
Role starts at $18/hour, with potential to grow into Event Manager role as our presence in CT grows!
