Job Description
We are seeking an Experienced electrician with strong troubleshooting and service experience. This is a hands-on position focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. This position requires someone who is reliable, self-directed, and able to make sound decisions in the field with minimal supervision.
You will represent Electrical Works on customer job sites and be expected to troubleshoot electrical issues, complete repairs efficiently, and communicate professionally with customers while maintaining our standards for quality and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems independently in the field.
- Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls.
- Install, replace, and repair electrical equipment, devices, panels, and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and project specifications.
- Test electrical systems using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Identify electrical issues and recommend effective repair solutions.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate progress with project managers and office staff.
- Communicate professionally with customers while providing quality service.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local electrical codes, and company safety policies.
Requirements
- Valid Arizona Journeyman Electrician License preferred (California General Electrician License also considered).
- Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make safe, sound field decisions.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license.

Physical Demands
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs with or without assistance.

- Safe use of hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and required PPE.
Work Environment
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Exposure to energized electrical systems, construction sites, noise, dust, and active work environments.
- Must be able to respond to changing job site conditions and hazards.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday with overtime and after-hours work as required.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for service and emergency work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
