We focus on improving the availability of our customer's facilities by providing testing, maintenance, troubleshooting/repair, and upgrades to electrical systems and controls. Our customers include over 50 companies and over 150 power and industrial sites.

Job Description
Responsibilities
The Electrical Technician can expect to but is not limited to performing the following:
• Work on a variety of components ranging from low voltage control systems to medium and high voltage switchgear and substation components
• Using meters and other specialized test equipment to test electrical components and systems.
• Developing and executing simple to complex troubleshooting of problems and faults.
• Developing and executing repair plans.
• Performing maintenance and calibration of electrical components, instrumentation and control systems and documenting results.
• Working with operating personnel to develop and implement Lockout/Tagout Plans.
• Working with operating personnel to develop and implement safety plans and job briefs.
• Executing planned upgrades of equipment and commissioning including point to point verification and operational testing.
• Perform installation of new equipment
Qualifications
• 4 years’ experience as an electrician.
• 3 years’ experience as an industrial electrical technician or equivalent military experience.
• Must be able to perform physical work in a power or industrial facility including wearing appropriate PPE, standing, kneeling, use of ladders both inside and outside structures.
• Must possess high aptitude in print reading
• Must have experience working with
• DC systems
• Plc systems
• Medium and high voltage switchgear, breakers, transformers, CTs and PTs
• Protective relays and relay testing
• Generators
• Excitation equipment
• Motor control centers
• Variable Frequency Drives
Requirements
• US work authorization.
• HS diploma.
• Journeyman / Master Electrical License, or Electrical Technology or Engineering degree preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and safe work history.
• Willingness to travel
• Willingness to work overtime
