Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Generator Technician and become a vital part of ensuring reliable power solutions for a diverse range of clients. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain generators and related equipment, delivering top-tier service that keeps operations running smoothly. Your mechanical expertise and electrical knowledge will drive your success as you troubleshoot complex systems, interpret schematics, and perform heavy lifting with precision. We’re looking for motivated technicians eager to make an impact through hands-on work and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair generator systems, majority of the work is on air-cooled generator systems, but not limited to.
- Knowledge of liquid cooled and diesel systems a plus.
- Conduct routine maintenance on generators and associated equipment to prevent downtime and extend lifespan.
- Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals to accurately troubleshoot issues.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to perform repairs and modifications.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large generator units or replacement parts.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and offering solutions that meet client needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic with a focus on generator repair or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Strong electrical experience combined with mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for diagnostics and repairs.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other mechanical tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
