What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a full-time Electrical Apprentice with a passion for service and commercial construction.
Major Expectations & Accountabilities
- Commits to working safely every day and focuses on continued development and education related to safe work practices.
- Assists the assigned Journeyman Electrician in ensuring the successful completion of each assigned electrical project or work order while maintaining the highest level of quality and craftsmanship at all times
- Performs electrical tasks including but not limited to the running of and installation of conduits, wiring, mounting boxes, lighting, devicing, digging trenches, and installation of other electrical applications
- Provides strong and effective troubleshooting skills and the ability to improvise and adapt to a variety of commercial applications and installation service calls.
- Develops and maintains strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor setting project objectives and helps ensures final project meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations.
- Assists in managing material and worksite keeping the jobsite organized and safe
- Responsible for electrical installations, specifications and code requirements, and helps ensure EPS quality standards are always maintained
- Monitors current work environments and ensures jobsite safety practices are always maintained
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- A valid driver’s license.
- Registered Unlicensed Electrician within the State of Minnesota.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a keen sense for detail.
- Desire to learn electrical installation and NEC Code
- Ability to have good foresight to anticipate changes in conditions and operations to the greatest extent possible and the ability to react and provide effective solutions.
Qualifications Set You Apart
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents related to electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards for electrical work.
- Two-year technical associate degree in electrical estimating, project management or construction management, or similar discipline.
- OSHA 10 and first aid certifications.
- A Health Card.
- Proficiency with business software, including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.

Compensation Range for an Electrician Apprentice
- Starting compensation is based on your relevant job experience
- This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime compensation
- The pay range for this role is between $21.00 to $36.00 per hour
