This is a full-time Safety Coordinator role based on-site in Madison, NC. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for promoting and ensuring adherence to safety protocols, conducting site inspections, developing safety training programs, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. The role also includes accident investigation, risk assessment, and maintaining documentation for safety procedures. Collaboration with project teams to ensure a safe work environment is a fundamental aspect of this position.
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring
- Proficiency in conducting safety inspections, audits, and investigations
- Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to promote safety across teams
- Ability to effectively collaborate in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is highly preferred
- Prior experience in the electrical contracting or construction industry is an advantage
