Responsibilities
- Carefully package products according to specified guidelines, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment safely to assemble and prepare items for packaging.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor packaging machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Follow all FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain compliance during packaging processes.
- Use forklifts and warehouse experience to move materials efficiently within the production area.
- Conduct routine inspections of packaging lines to identify and resolve potential issues quickly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging station, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools are essential for troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and CGMP standards relevant to packaging in regulated industries.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift materials regularly throughout shifts.
