JOB TITLE: Project Assistant
SCOPE OF WORK:
This role consists of aiding the Assistant Project Manager in the administrative aspect of projects as our team commence with the installation, alterations and additions of electrical systems. Much of this role will be performed at our office, and some of it will be performed on the jobsite as necessary. Prior experience is a plus but not mandatory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain/update data within our project management software (Bluebeam, Onenote and basic Microsoft programs)
· Review purchase order contracts and product submittals thoroughly to verify conformity to the project bid documents
· Manage permitting, RFI’s, revised drawings and project schedules
· Verify blueprints created by drafting department
· Generate jobsite punch lists based on site visit
· Attend meetings and take notes to create action items as required
· Assess material and tooling needs and facilitate getting the items to the jobsite
· Assess and aid in material organization and management on jobsite

WORKING CONDITIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be able to utilize jobsite sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns) during site work.
2. Wear personal protective equipment when on a jobsite (hard hat, safety glasses, work boots)
3. Must be able to commute to ECI office and jobsites which are typically within 1.5 hours of office or less.
4. Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
5. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
6. Constantly able to move on feet.
7. Able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
8. Able to sit at a desk for long periods at a time.
9. Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as needed.
10. Possess good vision (normal or corrected).
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provide Social Security or Immigration documents
2. High School diploma or GED; high school transcript
3. Evidence of previous applicable experience (if any)
4. DD214 (if veteran)
5. Pass drug test
6. Current Driver's License and have own transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
