Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all maintenance activities.
- Manage daily preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, rebuilds, and equipment reliability tasks across assigned shifts.
- Assign technicians to work orders strategically to minimize downtime and support production demands.
- Troubleshoot and guide the team through electrical, mechanical, and automation issues, including PLCs and automated systems.
- Use the companys CMMS to create, assign, and track work orders; run reports; and ensure maintenance priorities are met.
- Audit completed work, verify accuracy, and implement continuous improvement practices to elevate equipment performance and reduce repeat failures.
- Collaborate with operations and other departments to ensure smooth communication, effective planning, and rapid response to plant needs.
- Provide leadership through coaching, training, performance reviews, clear expectation setting, and corrective action when needed.
- Participate in shift meetings, planning sessions, audits, and reliability projects.
- Assist with staffing decisions, interview support, and onboarding new hires.
- Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety procedures, identifying hazards, and ensuring all work meets quality and compliance standards.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties and improvement projects as assigned.
