Compensation $28.00-$34.00 per hour
Electric Service of Colorado, Inc specializes in small and medium sized commercial and Residential construction projects in the Pikes Peak region.
We are looking for a Licensed Wireman/Service Tech. In this role you will perform electrical work and inspection on wiring, fixtures, outlets, and other electrical components. You will replace and repair electrical equipment and devices as required. You must maintain a deep understanding of building code regulations to check and ensure compliance with the highest standards of building design and construction. Success in this role will be demonstrated by employing effective process controls to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Interprets technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots faulty wiring.
- Leads compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards.
- Checks for and deploy upgrades of electrical components.
- Documents problems and prepares reports.
- Facilitates order of needed electrical components.
- Install electrical systems.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant hands-on experience preferred.
- Two year’s experience in commercial and/or residential electrical.
- Colorado Wireman's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical principles, construction, and wiring schematics.
- Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other safety standards.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and train apprentices.
- Valid Drivers License.
