Role Overview:
As the Director of Paid Media, you’ll take on a strategic leadership role, driving the success of our Paid Media team and guiding high-impact client campaigns. You’re a visionary and a mentor who can align our team’s skills with client goals, delivering both exceptional results and an inspiring work environment. This role combines high-level strategy with hands-on campaign oversight, making it ideal for someone who excels at both the big picture and the finer details.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in Paid Media, with at least 2 years in a leadership role at an agency
- Proven track record managing high-budget campaigns across multiple platforms (Meta, Google, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.)
- Demonstrated success with scaling E-commerce and DTC brands through paid media strategies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at guiding teams and managing client relationships
- Skilled in identifying growth KPIs, defining clear strategy paths, and articulating these to both clients and team members
- Experience with project management and resource planning, including optimizing workflows within a team setting
- Eye for data-led creative strategy and deep understanding of how visual content impacts performance
- In-depth knowledge of conversion rate optimization and ability to integrate CRO insights into campaign strategies
- Proficient in Google Analytics and comfortable with third-party reporting tools
- Highly client-focused with a competitive drive to exceed expectations
- Skilled at public speaking and confident in presenting to clients, internal teams, and industry groups
- A proactive, adaptable approach, with a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Responsibilities
- A lead on the Paid Media team, developing strategies and ensuring alignment with Electric Orange’s growth vision and client goals
- Direct and oversee client paid media accounts, setting the tone for strategic approach, optimization, and innovation
- Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, providing high-level guidance and strategic insights
- Collaborate with team members to design, launch, and optimize paid campaigns, setting benchmarks and KPIs
- Manage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative, supportive environment that encourages growth and accountability
- Oversee budget allocation and financial planning across all paid media efforts, ensuring profitability and alignment with client goals
- Drive team meetings, both internal and external, delivering insights and fostering transparency
- Maintain a hands-on role in analyzing and interpreting campaign data, ensuring strategies are agile and informed by real-time performance
- Lead campaign audits and optimization processes to consistently improve performance
- Actively participate in client meetings, presenting findings and strategies, and building trusted relationships
- Hold team members accountable for hitting KPIs and evolving Electric Orange’s reputation as a leading partner in paid media
