APC Utility

SUMMARY: Operate a wide variety of machines and equipment to produce quality components in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operate equipment to saw, form, bend, trim, debur, degrease, plate and to perform other ancillary operations. Must be able to read blueprints, to work from drawings, travelers and specifications to plan work in proper operational sequence to produce quality components. Utilize various types of lifting equipment as needed to move and stage material for all operations in department. Must adhere to all Company safety policies and procedures. Assist in training where needed. Other duties will be assigned as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MATHEMATICAL and/or COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use basic shop math. Knowledge of computer operation and related software required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Operate forklift truck (will be licensed in accordance with OSHA power industrial truck operator requirements.)
