Electric Machine Control, Inc. is looking for a Field Service Control Technician to play a key role in supporting customers from project concept through commissioning. Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLC, instrumentation, and electrical control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with field equipment such as overloads, starters, switches, and wiring.
- Interpret and work from electrical drawings, manuals, and test equipment (voltmeters, signal meters, etc.).
- Analyze process control applications from sensors through driven equipment back to the control system.
- Prepare detailed reports including troubleshooting analysis, root cause findings, corrective recommendations, and preventative measures.
- Communicate effectively with customers in both technical and commercial settings.
- Travel as required, including periodic overnight stays.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical control systems.
- Must be proficient in Office365 suite tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical control system troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and using diagnostic tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
