Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling products to enhance sales.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, proper food handling procedures, and food safety management practices.
- Assist with food service customer order management, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Support kitchen operations by operating kitchen equipment safely, bussing tables, and assisting with food prep as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a sanitized work environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Prior retail sales or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential.
