What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXPERIENCE Electrical Estimator/Project Manager position at Electric Construction Company?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Estimator/ Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through completion. If you have a strong background in electrical estimating, project management, and client relations, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and/or residential projects
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Manage projects from award through closeout
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and profitability
- Process change orders, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
- Negotiate contracts and procure materials
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
• Must have 5 years experience in electrical estimating
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license
