OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for an experienced Body Piercer with Tattoo skills to join our team. We want someone who is professional, reliable, skilled, and focused on making clients feel comfortable. The ideal candidate specializes in safe, professional body piercing and can also provide quality tattoos.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Perform safe and professional body piercings
● Help clients choose appropriate jewelry and piercing placement
● Explain piercing procedures, healing times, and aftercare
● Answer client questions clearly and patiently
● Create custom tattoos with care and attention to detail
● Discuss tattoo ideas, placement, size, style, and design with clients
● Prepare or adjust artwork based on client ideas
● Keep the workspace clean, organized, and sanitized
● Follow sterilization and safety procedures
● Maintain client records and consent forms
● Help track piercing, jewelry, tattoo, and supply inventory
● Help keep the shop welcoming and professional
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Professional body piercing experience
● 4 years of experience in a professional tattoo and piercing studio
● Strong knowledge of piercing techniques, jewelry, anatomy, healing, and aftercare
● Strong tattoo portfolio showing technical skill and versatility
● Knowledge of tattooing, sanitation, sterilization, bloodborne pathogens, and safety procedures
● Basic first-aid training and certification
● Friendly and professional communication skills
● Ability to help clients choose suitable piercing placements and jewelry
● Ability to turn client ideas into quality tattoos
● Ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality
● Comfortable providing both piercing and tattooing services
