Position Overview
The Process Engineer supports chemical manufacturing operations at H.B. Fuller’s Fridley site, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production in a 24/7 environment. Primary Responsibilities
The salary for this role is $95,000-$115,000.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design, monitor, and optimize chemical processes to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
- Analyze process performance data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Lead capital projects (typically $50K ) from concept through startup and execution
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and R&D teams to drive process improvements
- Apply structured problem-solving methods (e.g., DMAIC, FMEA, root cause analysis)
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards and regulations
- Conduct risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP) and support troubleshooting activities
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs and process updates
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing or chemical environment
- Proficiency with data analysis, process optimization, and continuous improvement tools
- Authorization to work in the United States
- 5 years of experience in chemical or manufacturing environments
- Experience managing multiple capital projects ($50K–$500K range)
- Certification or applied experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Experience with batch chemical processing or polymerization reactions
The salary for this role is $95,000-$115,000.
