Role Description The Transmission Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham, AL, responsible for leading field crews on transmission construction and maintenance projects. This role oversees daily work activities, including planning tasks, assigning crews, and monitoring progress to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with specifications and company standards. The Transmission Foreman coordinates the use of heavy equipment, materials, and tools; conducts site inspections; and enforces safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Daily responsibilities include interpreting drawings and work orders, communicating instructions and updates to team members and project managers, and resolving issues that arise in the field. The role also involves mentoring crew members, maintaining accurate records of labor and equipment usage, and supporting quality control throughout transmission line construction and maintenance operations.
