The Eleanor Nursing Care Center is a 120 bed skilled nursing facility located in Hyde Park, NY. The facility provides skilled nursing care for short term rehabilitation as well as long term nursing care residents.
The Eleanor is a long-standing local facility. We are in the process of building a dynamic new management team with motivated and dedicated professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring environment where residents and staff are cared for and appreciated.
The Director of Activities responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing on-going program of activities designed to meet the physical, mental and psychosocial well being of each resident
- Organize, help and support Resident Council meeting
- Be able to create a robust and stimulating program that promotes physical and social enrichment to our residents
- Supervise the department functions and staff
- Lead a daily physical exercise program
This full time position Monday-Friday position allows for flexibility and creativity.
